2019-20 NCBP Council Nomination Application

NCBP Executive Council and Office of Secretary

The NCBP Nominating Committee Chair Christine Hickey is now accepting nominations for 5 at-large seats on the NCBP Executive Council for three-year terms beginning August 2019 and ending August 2022. Seats are open to current and past elected officers from general purpose and special focus bar associations at the state, local (any size), and national level. Officers of Canadian bars are also eligible to apply. The committee also is accepting nominations for the office of NCBP Secretary, a position which succeeds to the position of NCBP President in 2022. To read about the Executive Council, visit the Executive Council page.

By submitting your name as a nominee, you agree to be present for the NCBP Nominating Committee interview, to be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 in San Francisco, CA. 

If elected, new council members will be required to attend programming of the NCBP Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 10, 2019, and a new board orientation immediately following the programming. You must also attend the NCBP Fall Council Meeting, September 20-21, 2019 in Park City, UT.

During their term, council members should plan to attend the NCBP Annual and Midyear Meetings each year, as well as a fall council meeting, held in September or October each year.
