We Want to Hear from You!

The greatest resource NCBP has is its members, and the ability of our members to share ideas with each other. To that end, we want to hear from you as you lead your bar during the pandemic. What are you seeing? What help do you need? Are there resources you have found that you think would be helpful to other bar leaders? NCBP is the place to share. Please, fill out this survey to let us know what help you need, and to share your resources with others. Also check out the NCBP's Forum Resource Page.

NCBP and ABA Offer Recovery and Reopening Plans...In addition to the full list of resources NCBP has created, we have also teamed up with the ABA Division for Bar Services to provide resources on not only the pandemic, but how to recover and come out of it. And the ABA has created a COVID-19 Task Force as a national source of information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the delivery of legal services. See the ABA Task Force information here, and access the DBS/NCBP resources here

ABA Tax Section Help with CARES Act Questions...As a response to the COVID-19 crisis, the CARES Act directs the IRS to issue Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) to eligible individuals, married couples, and families with children. The American Bar Association Tax Section offers information to help promote the availability of these payments, especially for those who assist lower-income clients, non-filers, and other vulnerable populations, and to warn against scams. Please see the ABA Tax Section’s information here and share widely with your colleagues and networks.

Pandemic Recovery - How Will Law Be Changed...As difficult as the #coronavirus pandemic has been, coming out of it will create its own challenges. But those challenges are also opportunities to make the legal sector more efficient, create better access to justice, and accelerate regulatory reform. Read more in Above the Law.
